P90X continues. Some of the poses were just too much & I skipped them.

And it begins

Mike and I started P90X this week.  Mike has been religious about doing the Classic program every day since Sunday. I started on Tuesday night with the Lean program and made it about 30 minutes in before I felt like I was going to throw up.  When I woke up the next morning, I could hardly walk.  On Wednesday night, I fell asleep on the couch watching Mike do his program.  Last night I did the next CD which was CardioX and made it all the way through the 47 minutes.  I am sore today but feel ok.

It's little Lulu's 8th birthday. I'm sitting on the couch reflecting on my little girl. From the pain & stress of her pregnancy to the force of nature she is today, I can't imagine a minute without her. Happy birthday, little girl :)

Things I find when I get to the bottom of the pile

I'm trying to work on my 2012 resolution and last night, I started getting rid of stuff. I threw some away. Made give away piles. Folded a ton of clothes. Made decisions. The anxiety is so overwhelming when I even think about going through these piles. I was folding clothes tonight and found this little gem under a laundry basket.

It's an unfinished Alexia story. She spoke the story and I wrote it down:

Once upon a time, there was a little witch who had a magic box. She was on born yesterday but she had a beautiful sparkling dress from her parents. The little witch didn't know how to use her magic box that her parents gave her. She tried to use her powers to open the box. Little did she know that there was a ghost in the box. Tap Tap Tap went her broomstick on the top, but when it opened, out came a BOO Ghost. She commanded the ghost to dance until she clapped her hands two times. The ghost said NO....

It looks like there may be a second page floating around here somewhere. I'll let you know.

The Twilight series is just bad. I read all the novels because I wanted to see what the excitement was. A friend loaned me the books because she said no one should have to read them. I poured over book one slooooowly. Hoping that if I read it sloooooowly that I would understand what the fuss was about. Needless to say, I sped-read the rest to get through them. I guess to say that I had read them? I'm not feeling so proud about that now.
